About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas within Facilities Management and Development. Duties include dusting and cleaning all surfaces, removing trash and recyclables, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and replenishing supplies, cleaning glass doors, windows, and blinds, removing graffiti, cleaning furniture and upholstery, cleaning light fixtures, polishing woodwork and metal surfaces, cleaning stairwells, walkways, and elevators, and performing general housekeeping. The role also involves sweeping, vacuuming, spot cleaning, and full cleaning of carpets. Additionally, the custodian will provide support for custodial/clean emergencies and serve as a special event custodian, participating in campus event set-up and clean-up.

Requirements

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education sufficient to demonstrate the required skills.
Possession of a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check).
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities
