About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. This is a part-time position with an evening shift, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, totaling 30 hours per week. The role involves various cleaning duties and event support.

Requirements

Must pass a background check to be eligible to work in a school setting
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks indoors and outdoors
Frequent walking, bending, stretching, lifting, pulling, and pushing
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Comfortable performing repetitive physical movements throughout the day
Strong customer service skills and a dependable work ethic
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Must be able to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or computer

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom and cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more.
Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture.
Perform floor and carpet maintenance as needed.
