About The Position

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role involves anticipating problems such as material shortages and informing the appropriate personnel, as well as solving problems as required. The position requires lifting and transporting waste and cardboard, with physical requirements for lifting medium and heavy weights not to exceed 40 pounds. The Custodian may be required to operate a hand lift truck or other material handling devices. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, office areas, and conference rooms. Additional miscellaneous duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of the job. The role also supports functions such as assisting in the training and qualification of other associates and contributing to the development of more efficient ways of maintaining the plant.
