About The Position
Keep the plant clean, safe and ready for inspection at any hour.
Requirements
- No prior experience required. We train you on site.
- Able to follow a chemical handling and safety data sheet protocol.
- Reliable attendance. This job is judged on whether the building is clean and safe when the first shift walks in.
Responsibilities
- Clean production floors, aisles, restrooms, break areas and offices on a daily schedule.
- Remove leather scrap, trim waste and general refuse. Segregate anything the environmental permits require to be segregated.
- Keep aisles, exits, eyewash stations and fire equipment clear and accessible at all times.
- Maintain the cleaning supply inventory. Store chemicals according to the safety data sheets.
- Report any spill, leak, blocked exit or unsafe condition to Maintenance immediately.
