About The Position

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments in customer buildings and grounds by performing cleaning duties with provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Work includes sweeping, mopping, polishing, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and windows, and dusting. The custodian maintains supplies and equipment inventory, uses required personal protective equipment, and opens and locks facilities and enables or disables security systems as needed. The role requires a flexible, fast-paced approach to multitasking, a positive attitude, dependability, punctuality, and courteous treatment of coworkers and customers. Training is provided to applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The position is part-time, second shift, and reports to the Supervisor.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace while handling multiple tasks.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Able to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach for up to 100% of the time.
Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper.

Responsibilities
