About The Position

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - McMinnville is accepting applications for the part-time position of Custodian for the Coffee Co. Campus. The Custodian works under the supervision of the Coffee Co. Campus Director performing daily custodial duties. He/she shall be a high school graduate or the equivalent as determined by the High School Equivalency (HSE) Test with three (3) years of related experience.

Requirements

• High school graduate or the equivalent as determined by the High School Equivalency (HSE) Test
• Three (3) years of custodial work experience
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals and MSDS labeling
• Must possess or are able to obtain a valid Tennessee driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years of custodial work experience in an education setting preferred
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas per the institution’s cleaning and maintenance policy.
• Perform safety and security checks of facilities.
• Perform opening and closing of facilities as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to student success.
