About The Position
This position is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and housekeeping for the KROC, maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment for the facilities daily.
Requirements
- Six months experience performing general housekeeping duties or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
- Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work.
- Duties are performed standing and require squatting, climbing, bending and walking.
- Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.

Responsibilities
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping office areas, toilets, locker rooms, and kitchen areas.
- Emptying trash cans daily and collecting trash from grounds.
- Cleaning trash cans.
- Shampooing and cleaning carpets.
- Stripping and waxing floors weekly.
