Requirements

Prior experience in custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance work preferred
Ability to work independently and follow through consistently without close supervision
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and their proper use and upkeep
Ability to identify maintenance needs and minor repair issues throughout the building
Sustained physical activity throughout the workday, on your feet the majority of the time, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing as the work demands.
Regular use of hands and arms is required for cleaning, handling equipment, and reaching.
Lifting up to 50 pounds is a routine part of the role, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas throughout the building
Perform floor care including stripping, sealing, finishing, and carpet care
Clear trash, haul items, and set up spaces for meetings and events
Keep walkways, parking areas, and building entrances clear of snow and debris
Identify maintenance needs and minor repair issues and report them to the Corps Officer
Recommend supply and service needs to keep the building running smoothly
