About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Custodian for their Distribution Center in Shepherdsville, KY. In this role, you will support the team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. This position is crucial for our success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana).
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Clear snow.
• Maintain landscaping.
• Maintain buildings to ensure clean, organized operations.
