About The Position

GRBS is seeking dependable and self-motivated individuals to join their family as a part-time Custodian at Portland Public Schools. This role involves evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekend per month. The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, possesses leadership experience, a positive attitude, and is a team player with a focus on customer service. Reliable transportation is essential. Please note that due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently
• Follow GRBS Process
• Have mindful communication with respect to all
• Finish the job to the building map and shift
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
