About The Position

HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. The Test Facilities Operation, and Engineering (TFOME III) Team, which includes Troy7, Sierra Lobo, HX5, Amentum & MSM, is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for the purpose of construction, demolition, or excavation. The TFOME team provides engineering and technical services in the aeronautics, space power, and propulsion test facilities.

Requirements

Must have a combination of the following education and experience:
Thorough knowledge of cleaning supplies
Ability to work while bending, standing, stooping, kneeling, or in a prone position for extended time periods
Ability to lift/ carry items sometime up and down stairways and push/ pull heavy objects
Ability to use PPE, hearing, and vision protection.
Requires a minimum of zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience.
Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and keeping in an orderly condition, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Washing windows, door panels, and sills, cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, and metalwork.
Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenishing custodial and cleaning supplies.
Other duties as required, may be able to shovel walkways.
