About The Position

It is a highly-ranked institution with a substantial operating budget and endowment. This position is for a Custodian on the 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday from 11 pm to 7:30 am.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Will be required to provide information verifying a valid driver's license.
• Must submit a DMV driving record.
• Must comply with University guidelines regarding insurability.
• Ability to perform heavy and repetitive physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and understand work schedules and label warnings on cleaning products.
• Ability to write work orders, take direction, and communicate with staff, students, and faculty.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned Housekeeping duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal, project work, recycling, and spot cleaning carpets and brite work.
• Undertake major project work such as machining and refinishing floors, shampooing carpets, and washing walls.
• Clear trash from entrance ways.
• Remove snow during the winter.
