About The Position
Keeps office building and/or work area in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. May work in none temperature controlled environment. Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. May be assigned other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
- Empties trash and garbage containers.
- Stocks snack and soda machines.
- Performs limited grounds maintenance.
