About The Position

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the building and property. This role involves performing routine maintenance and heavy cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. The Custodian will manage cleaning supplies and operate various cleaning equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

Ability to keep building and property in clean and orderly condition.
Ability to perform routine maintenance activities.
Ability to perform heavy cleaning duties.
Proficiency in sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors.
Ability to gather and empty trash.
Skill in scrubbing, sanitizing, and supplying restroom facilities.
Ability to dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
Proficiency in cleaning windows, mirrors, and partitions.
Ability to mix cleaning solutions and chemicals according to instructions.
Knowledge of procedures for using chemical cleaners and power machinery.
Ability to clean and polish fixtures and furniture.
Skill in shampooing or steam-cleaning carpets and rugs.
Ability to manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
Valid driver's license to operate vehicles for cleaning work.
Ability to notify managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, vans, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
