About The Position

Custodians are responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of a variety of University facilities, including academic spaces, administrative offices, athletic facilities, and student living and dining areas. Daily tasks will be performed based on the needs of the campus, assigned work orders, or designated projects. Custodians may be assigned to a specific building/route and assignments may be changed at the discretion of the University depending on the needs of the University. Some events related work, including set up for events, may be assigned as well. Although the University will try its best to provide reasonable notice about necessary overtime or changes in work hours, custodians may be requested to work overtime with little to no notice based on unexpected or last-minute type situations. In addition, attendance at certain work-related events may be mandatory at the request of the University.

• Ability to perform daily tasks based on campus needs, work orders, or designated projects.
• Willingness to work overtime with little to no notice.
• Willingness to attend mandatory work-related events.
