About The Position

Cascade Manor, a vibrant not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members. The role involves providing routine and special cleaning services, setting up and taking down event spaces, operating custodial equipment, and performing various custodial duties to uphold high standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating custodial equipment and using cleaning products safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with residents, guests, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and special cleaning services throughout the community to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Set up and take down meeting rooms and event spaces, including tables, chairs, and equipment for resident and community activities.
• Operate custodial and floor-care equipment safely and effectively while cleaning assigned areas.
• Perform carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, window washing, trash removal, and other custodial duties.
• Support a safe and welcoming environment by following safety procedures and responding appropriately to emergencies.
