About The Position

This position involves a variety of light to heavy cleaning tasks performed independently in specific areas or as a member of a crew. Under general supervision, the employee performs tasks during the assigned shift to ensure cleanliness of multiple assigned areas and do related work as required.

Requirements

  • Must possess solid organizational skills
  • Modern cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and materials.
  • Thrive in a fast pace and dynamic environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude, comfortable working with your hands
  • Proper lifting techniques
  • Detail oriented
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of custodial experience
  • Lift 20+ lbs
  • Frequent walking around office and shop floor

Nice To Haves

  • Current technologies, personal computer, and associated office software such as word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and/or database software.
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks

Responsibilities

  • General cleaning and sanitizing of facility, including offices, 5+ restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, and shop areas.
  • Sanitize all high touch surfaces areas.
  • Re-stock paper products, soaps, and hand sanitizers.
  • Trash and Recycle disposal.
  • Vacuum carpet in office areas and rugs in shop area.
  • Sweep and mop hard floors in break rooms, restrooms, and shop areas.
  • Clean entry glass doors throughout the facility.
  • Use Floor Scrubber, Backpack Vacuum, and Carpet Shampooer.
  • Use safety equipment and PPE while performing job duties as required.
  • Understand Hazard Communication Regulations and Material Data Sheets.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
