About The Position
GRBS is seeking dependable and self-motivated individuals to join their family as a part-time Custodian at Portland Public Schools. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to build a schedule that works best for you, with a requirement of being available at least 3 days per week and 3 hours each night. This position is ideal for retirees, parents, students, or anyone looking for flexible work and extra income. Requirements
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
- Positive attitude.

- Reliable transportation to and from work each day.
- Individuals with theft, violence or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment due to Michigan public schools requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide custodial coverage for staff call-offs and open areas throughout the district.
- Come to work consistently.
- Follow GRBS Process.
- Have mindful communication with respect to all.
- Finish the job to the building map and shift.
- Vacuuming.
- Mopping.
- Dusting.
- Cleaning restrooms.
- Removing trash.
- Other cleaning tasks as assigned.
