About The Position
Facilities Management Systems (FMS), a company of The Nutrition Group, is seeking a Custodian for a local K-12 School District. FMS has been operating since 1986 and is a people-oriented company that prides itself on long-term relationships. This position is Monday through Friday, with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM during the school year and 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM during the summer. Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read labels to ensure proper chemical usage
- Good attendance and able to work alone and in a group
- Ability to lift 40 Lbs.
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, offices, gymnasium and restrooms
- Trash removal
- Adherence of proper chemical handling procedures
- Attention to detail
