About The Position
Seeking Custodians for a logistics facility in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position that entails a lot of walking, emptying trash (heavy lifting), and cleaning outside areas. In addition to janitorial duties, tasks may include removing and bailing cardboard, moving and stacking pallets, floor cleaning, and fork truck operation. Candidates must be open to any task assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
- Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes/boots required
Responsibilities
- General Cleaning - Restrooms, Plant Area, Break Rooms, Conference Rooms, etc.
- Emptying trashes (heavy lifting)
- Cleaning outside areas (Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc.)
- Removing and Bailing Cardboard
- Moving and stacking Pallets
- Floor cleaning
- Fork truck operation
