About The Position
Custodian We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial, janitorial or housekeeper work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Excellent time management skills and reliability
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly
- Assist with set-up and breakdown for events or meetings as needed
- Maintain a regular cleaning schedule to ensure consistent standards of hygiene and cleanliness
