About The Position

Under direction of the Company Services Supervisor, performs a broad range of custodian duties and manual work in the care and cleaning of the company headquarters building, medical clinic and/or other assigned facilities. Duties include dusting and polishing furniture, emptying trash, sweeping, cleaning surfaces and inspecting cleanliness of buildings.

Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Ability to read and write the English language.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motion for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs cleaning duties adhering to approved department procedures and standards.
Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors, using cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
Loads/unloads dishwashers; cleans countertop, coffee equipment, caterings and conference rooms.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Maintains custodial equipment and supplies; performs preventative maintenance and maintains cleaning chemicals and consumable inventory.
May train others and performs related work as assigned.
