About The Position

This position is part of the AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative that provides employment opportunities for individuals who have significant disabilities. Eligibility requirements may apply in accordance with AbilityOne Program guidelines. The Custodian will be responsible for cleaning offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing surfaces, emptying trash, restocking restroom supplies, cleaning windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other surfaces. The role also involves spot cleaning carpets, handling basic floor care, helping set up and break down furniture for special events, and removing snow and ice from walkways when needed. The Custodian will safely operate cleaning equipment and supplies, report maintenance issues or safety concerns, and follow all safety and contract guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
