About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning campus buildings including: mopping, stripping and/or finishing floors, cleaning areas requiring use of ladder, operating heavy cleaning equipment, rodent and pest control and moving furniture or classroom building materials. Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders to reach high places including replacing ceiling light bulbs
- Ability to move heavy furniture
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (50 – 75 pounds)
- Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment
- Ability to mop extensive area
- Possess organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
Nice To Haves
- Prior related job experience (1 – 2 years)
- Training or prior experience in use of cleaning equipment and job functions
