About The Position

The Knight Campus custodial team will perform all custodial duties to provide and maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and sanitary environment that helps promote a sense of well-being and caring for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors who use the facility. The custodians maintain the daily cleaning and disinfection of the entire Knight Campus Buildings 1 and 2 facilities including restrooms, kitchens, offices, classrooms, laboratories, and meeting areas on all floors.

Requirements

One year of direct custodial experience
Demonstrated knowledge of standard building cleaning practices and knowledge of hazards and safety precautions and procedures
Demonstrated high-level attention to detail and follow-through
Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
Demonstrated time-management skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial chemicals
Experience providing custodial services including maintaining floors in a large facility
