About The Position

With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people. We are seeking to hire a Full Time Custodian. We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced person to join our public school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors while overseeing the daily custodial operations of the school building. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from lead custodian, supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Reliable Transportation
Be able to use the auto scrubber machine
Be able set up for events

Nice To Haves

Prior cleaning/janitor experience is a plus but will train
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
Maintaining glass surfaces, drinking fountains, and high-touch areas
Assisting with cafeteria cleanup and trash removal
Setting up tables and equipment for after-school programs and events
Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and operating custodial equipment as needed
Responding to routine cleaning requests
Removing trash and recycling
Ensuring the building is clean, secure, and ready for the next school day
Working with the lead custodian on day to day responsibilities
Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors of the facility
