About The Position
DNC Facility Services is currently hiring dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our custodial team at a private educational facility in Bossier City, Louisiana. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments and who thrive in a structured work setting with consistent routines and clear expectations. As a Custodial Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. Team members are expected to follow detailed cleaning procedures and maintain high standards throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn established cleaning procedures and standards
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation required
- Must pass a background check (required for school setting)
Nice To Haves
- Custodial or floor care experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
- Restock restroom and facility supplies
- Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and on schedule
- Maintain professionalism and consistency throughout each shift
