About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Responsibilities include daily coffee supply for employees, lunchroom cleaning, and cleaning all buildings' bathrooms, along with other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently required to stand.
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• May require knowledge of postage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Floor cleaning utilizing machinery such as a burnisher, carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, and pressure washer.
• Lunchroom duties including preparing coffee, cleaning, stocking supplies, placing coffee orders, and ensuring the lunchroom is orderly and clean at all times.
• May serve as back-up for mail delivery and pick-ups.
• Clean all restrooms in buildings.
• Vacuum offices and perform general cleaning as needed.
• Responsible for complying with all applicable Safety and Environmental policies.
• Other duties as required.
