About The Position

Perfection Group is searching for a Custodian responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, healthy, and welcoming environment throughout assigned facilities. This position performs routine custodial services, floor care, event support, and basic facility upkeep while delivering exceptional customer service and representing Perfection Group with professionalism. Custodians will maintain a premier educational facility where your work truly makes a difference. Every classroom, hallway, and common space you care for helps create an environment where students, staff, and visitors can thrive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check and any customer-required pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5+ years of commercial, industrial, educational, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass, entrances, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Perform routine floor care including buffing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning as needed.
• Set up and tear down tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, school functions, and special events.
• Assist with seasonal cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments.
• Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly to leadership.
• Safely operate custodial equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and other cleaning equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and custodial closets in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow OSHA, customer, and Perfection Group safety policies and procedures.
• Represent Perfection Group professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
