About The Position

AMSOIL INC. is seeking a Custodian to join the Maintenance team at the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused team member who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized and efficient industrial work environment. As a key member of the Maintenance team, the Custodian helps maintain cleanliness, safety and operational efficiency across production areas, warehouses, offices and shared spaces.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience cleaning in an industrial environment.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to be insurable for AMSOIL INC. vehicles.
• Ability to work as part of a team and be capable of self-direction.
• High attention to detail and a desire to produce quality work.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and repetitively lift for long periods of time.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred; training is provided on the job.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub floors in production areas, warehouses, offices and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Wash windows, walls and other surfaces as needed.
• Dust furniture, HVAC vents and other surfaces as needed.
• Keep break rooms and restrooms stocked with consumables.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables and industrial waste according to AMSOIL standards.
• Operate drivable floor sweepers, floor scrubbers and forklift equipment as required.
• Follow OSHA and AMSOIL safety guidelines.
• Report spills, leaks or safety hazards immediately.
• Perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs and painting.
• Assist maintenance teams during deep-cleaning projects.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Maintain logs of cleaning activities and safety checks within the CMMS system, Limble.
