About The Position
Lawrence Public Library is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our community. This role is essential to ensuring that the library remains a comfortable and safe space for all visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with commercial cleaning equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, windows, and furniture.
- Remove trash and recycling from all areas of the building.
- Set up and take down furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
- Respond to cleaning requests and spills in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
