About The Position

Weber Center has an immediate opening for a part-time custodian. Our team members receive a complimentary membership to our health club, Fitness First, free pool pass and golf along with other programming discounts. Duties: Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Weber Center. Duties may include room set-ups and take-downs; floor mopping; floor vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; trash removal; window washing and other custodial maintenance tasks as assigned. Assists with closing the building. Keeps records and checklists of tasks performed. Performs all work to the District’s safety and cleanliness standards. Delivers excellent internal and external customer service and works cooperatively with other staff, supervisors and the patrons of the Oakton Community.

Requirements

Must be an adult at least 18 years of age.
Must have proficient computer skills and be able to use office software.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding customer service skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Must be able to obtain and keep current CPR and AED certification

Responsibilities

Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Weber Center.
