About The Position

GRBS is seeking dependable and self-motivated individuals to join their family as part-time custodians at Byron Center Public Schools. This role involves ensuring a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, possesses a positive attitude, is a team player with strong customer service skills, and has reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. GRBS has over 100 years of experience and is committed to providing honorable and safe employment, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
• Come to work consistently

• Have mindful communication with respect to all
• Finish the job to the building map and shift
