About The Position

Terrapin is looking for an Custodian to join our growing company. As a Clinton County, Penn.-based cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator and processor of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products with plans to open a retail footprint in Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of industry experience, Terrapin was licensed to operate in the Pennsylvania marketplace in 2017, growing to more than 180 employees. Retail expansion in Pennsylvania has created a need for a Custodian.

Requirements

Must be able to work independently and with a team
Regular attendance is essential for team collaboration
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50+ pounds at a time
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to operate a forklift
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
Ability to interact with management , staff , and outside vendors while remaining professional, polite and courteou s
Basic computer/tablet skills (typing, emailing, reporting)
Must be 21 years of age
Must have a clean and valid drivers' license
Ability to drive to retail locations if required
Must be able to pass Background Check and hold/obtain current State Mandated Badge

Responsibilities

Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common area of the buildings in line with company sanitation procedures
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, break rooms and common/high-touch surfaces
Periodic deep cleaning of high traffic areas per Custodian schedules
Maintains a neat and orderly custodial area(s)
Ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked in all requ ired areas
Assists in identifying safety hazards, reporting deficiencies to the Facilities Manager
Ensures restrooms and break rooms are stocked with supplies at all times
Availability and assistance with other departments
Assists with company/employee events with set up and clean up
Cleans and maintains the company house with general housekeeping (including but not limited to laundering linens and towels, putting away dishes, etc.)
Seasonal detail projects such as snow management, lawn care, window cleaning
Escorts vendors as appointed
Performs other duties as assigned
