About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian member to join our team on the beautiful island of Kauai. This part-time position involves maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in a commercial building.

Requirements

Must pass prescreen check.
Willingness to train.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Good communication in English and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.
Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, and pressing.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and vacuuming throughout the commercial building.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in office space, common areas, restrooms, and stock rooms.
Replenish supplies in restrooms and common areas as needed.
Efficiently manage and operate a cleaning cart for transporting supplies.
Clean frequently touched surfaces, including wiping down all tables and chairs to promote hygiene.
Clean all interior glass, entry door glass, and accessible windows for a streak-free finish.
Collect and properly dispose of trash from designated areas, including lifting trash from bins and transporting it as needed.
Utilize a golf cart for navigating and maintaining the property.
Carry out customer service responsibilities.
