As a Day Porter, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our facilities. Position Details Schedule: Weekend Day shift Pay: 17.50/hr What You'll Do: As a Day Porter, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include: Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants. Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
