About The Position
Seeking Custodian for an automotive facility in Ypsilanti, MI. This is a physically demanding position that includes general cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and conference rooms. It also involves a significant amount of walking, emptying trash (which may involve heavy lifting), and cleaning outside areas such as the yard, guard shack, and smoke area. Additional tasks include removing and bailing cardboard, moving and stacking pallets, floor cleaning, and fork truck operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
