About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all staff and visitors. This position supports daily cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and sanitation duties throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Maintain custodial equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Monitor supply levels and request inventory replenishment.
- Respond to cleaning or spill emergencies as needed.
- Indoor facility environment; may require occasional outdoor tasks.
