Custodian (Seasonal, Part Time)

This position supports daily operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout the exhibition, offices, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. The role helps preserve Meow Wolf’s creative environment through reliability, attention to detail, and pride in maintaining a world-class immersive experience.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Excellent communication and reliability.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Candidates must be 18 or older to apply.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties across exhibition, retail, office, and public areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as assigned to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Clean and restock restrooms and break areas.
- Collect, separate, and dispose of trash and recycling.
- Inspect and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Facilities or Operations team.
- Support setup and breakdown of events and special activities as needed.
- Maintain custodial equipment, supplies, and storage areas in safe and organized condition.
- Follow established schedules and cleaning procedures consistently.
- Comply with all health, safety, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet cleanliness standards.
