About The Position

First Lady, an industry leader in Chicago tours and private events, is seeking a Riverwalk Custodian to join its exciting and high-volume workplace. Serving Chicago for over 80 years, the company operates nine vessels from March to November from its Riverwalk location at the Southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge. First Lady aims to build loyalty and value with guests through great service, outstanding products, operational excellence, and innovative leadership. The goal of the Custodial Team is to maintain excellent, clean, and safe working conditions for guests and teammates on Chicago's Riverwalk. This role is land-based and focuses on keeping the expansive Riverwalk area clean and welcoming to everyone. This position is primarily outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold.

Responsibilities

• Performing cleaning tasks based on a schedule
• Maintaining timely trash collection based on boat schedule
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and window cleaning around the facility
• Replenish supplies and maintain inventory/organization
• Watering plants
• Respond to maintenance requests quickly with a professional manner
• Assist with minor repairs if needed
• Shoveling snow, if necessary
