About The Position
Facilities Management Systems (FMS) is a company of The Nutrition Group which operates the Custodial and Maintenance Management. FMS has been operating since 1986. The Nutrition Group is a people oriented company that prides itself on the long term relationships we’ve established with clients, customers, employees, and vendors. FMS has an open position of Custodian at a local K-12 School District. This is a Monday thru Friday position from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM during the school year. Summer hours are 6:30 AM to 3 PM.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read labels to ensure proper chemical usage
- Good attendance and able to work alone and in a group
- Ability to lift 40 Lbs.
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, offices, gymnasium and restrooms
- Trash removal
- Adherence of proper chemical handling procedures
- Attention to detail
