About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and performing light maintenance tasks. They also ensure the building is secure and that cleaning agents and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Requirements

Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning agents and their proper use.
Understanding of safety procedures and ability to wear protective gear.
Ability to perform light maintenance tasks.
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and lifting.

Nice To Haves

Experience in grounds maintenance.
Experience in event setup.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the cleanliness of floors, walls, windows, furniture, and other surfaces.
Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms with supplies.
Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper disposal.
Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or fixing small leaks.
Operating cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffing machines.
Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and restocking as needed.
Ensuring the building is locked and secured after hours.
Setting up and preparing rooms for events, meetings, or other special occasions.
Responsible for light grounds maintenance tasks like sweeping sidewalks or removing snow.
Following safety procedures, wearing appropriate protective gear, and reporting any safety hazards.
Performing other duties as needed by their supervisor.
