About The Position

Performs custodial duties, provides production support and assists in sanitation control within a one level 45,500 square foot facility. We're 21st century artisans - utilizing state-of-the-art technology and old-world craftsmanship to provide precision metal bars, pre-production blanks and material preparation services to companies machining high precision components for a host of industries like medical device and automotive - helping them achieve success through streamlined operational excellence.

Requirements

• Physically able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, push, pull and reach.
• Some custodial experience preferred.
• Current or previous forklift certification
• Ability to speak/read and write in English

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and janitorial duties and limited grounds maintenance
• Performs scheduled custodial duties as directed by engineering manager, including, but not limited to; trash/recycling, floor cleaning, paper towel/hand soap/toilet paper distribution and inventory management, monthly changing of inline water filters in break rooms, and outside trash/litter removal.
• Performs various Production Support activities including, but not limited to; air filtration (changing filters on RTU's & Mistbuster units, managing filter inventory), Cintas consumables (managing used mop head and oil rag accumulation cart, coolant solvent and oil inventory management), and grinding wheel storage and retrieval assistance.
• Oversees break area to ensure coffee machines and supplies are properly stocked, cleaned and maintained.
• Keeps department supplies neat and orderly, and reports supply orders to Engineering Manager.
• Reports needs for major repairs to Engineering Manager.
• Performs other duties as required.
