About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean facility and grounds by completing a variety of cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks. The essential functions include, but are not limited to, cleaning the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls, cleaning and maintaining restrooms, disinfecting commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones, maintaining cleaning and supply inventory for all supply rooms, placing orders for supplies when needed, maintaining outdoor grounds, removing debris and snow from sidewalk, emptying trash and recycling bins, dusting furniture and fixtures, performing minor repairs on equipment and tools, and notifying the appropriate personnel of unsafe conditions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum High School diploma or GED
Active driver’s license and minimum state-required auto-insurance.
Reliable transportation
1 to 3 years minimum work-related experience required
Prior demonstrated knowledge of various cleaning products, equipment and when and how to use and store them appropriately.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to use and troubleshoot basic cleaning equipment.
The ability to interact with a diverse population.
Good organizational skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
The ability to maintain a high level of client confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

3+ years minimum work-related experience preferred
