About The Position

Giesecke+Devrient has an outstanding opportunity for a Custodian on 2nd Shift at our Bolingbrook manufacturing plant, working Monday - Friday from 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced worker who enjoys physical tasks, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and is looking for a long-term role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
• Use industrial walk-behind floor scrubber
• Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors, and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean breakrooms and other common areas, ensuring all surfaces, including countertops and appliances, are sanitized and presentable
• Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the facility
• Clean the exteriors of production machines and equipment
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned
• Willing to take on new responsibilities as the role evolves.
