About The Position

The Custodian – PT is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at the Nexus Family Recovery Center Facility. This role reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the Maintenance Team Lead. The position involves responding to facilities tickets for housekeeping, ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and ordered, and reporting any maintenance concerns. The custodian also assists with the general upkeep of the building and grounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Current driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Respects confidentiality always.
• Follows HIPAA and CFR 42 guidelines for disclosing information.
• Adheres to the agency’s compliance plan, code of conduct, and the Nexus policies & procedures.
• Treats all clients, visitors, and co-workers with dignity and respect.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to solve practical problems involving a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities with neatness, accuracy, and a degree of excellence, promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe and clean environment in assigned areas.
• Responds to facilities tickets for housekeeping as assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead.
• Assures that cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained, stocked, and ordered in a timely manner.
• Reports any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Team Lead.
• Assists with the upkeep of building and grounds of Nexus Family Recovery Center.
• Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties within the organization as assigned.
