About The Position

The facilities custodian will be responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the building for all aspects of the use of the building and grounds. The goal for this role is to provide consistently excellent upkeep of the buildings and grounds of LBC for all who use the building. This is a part-time position with 18-20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Weekly Sunday AM building cleanliness and readiness
  • Maintenance and organization of rooms, closets, and storage areas
  • Consistent communication with staff and leadership
  • Weekly Check-in
  • Other custodial duties as assigned by your supervisor
  • Be committed to spiritual growth through your own personal Bible study, prayer and worship.
  • Wholeheartedly believe in and support the vision, mission, core values and ministry mandates of LifeBridge Church.
  • Agree to and abide by lifestyle choices as defined in the Water’s Edge Employee Handbook and not to compromise the testimony of LifeBridge Church by supporting or engaging in any moral or ethical misconduct.

Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness of the building, especially highlighting Sunday morning and event use
  • Systems of organization for necessary supplies - toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Occasional hosting required for certain events or needs (being present for non-church events or contracted work - this is a shared responsibility)
  • Build a volunteer team for deeper cleaning/organizing/decorating projects for LifeBridge
