About The Position

A Custodian is responsible for keeping the manufacturing area and rest areas clean, stocked, and in an orderly condition. This will be a 3rd shift position with the following hours: Monday-Thursday 7pm-5:30am.

Requirements

No active written or final discipline on file.
Good standing in attendance.
Previous custodial experience.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects
Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Gather and empty trash.
Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping (using floor scrubber equipment).
Perform basic maintenance on floor scrubber equipment including draining/emptying tanks.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage and maintain safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness of breakroom including but not limited to cleaning the microwaves.
Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
Organize, put away, and deliver supplies from supply pallet deliveries.
Keep trash compactor area clean of loose debris.
Operate leaf blower as needed.
Assist in other production areas as necessary.
