About The Position

Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain work areas as assigned. This position operates in all areas of the facility including, but not limited to, administration area, warehouse areas, customer service area, and restrooms. Requirements

• Documented disabilities that would inhibit their ability to obtain and maintain normal competitive employment.
• Experience in janitorial work preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Must be capable of working on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must provide your own transportation to work.
• Must be able to read and identify MSD sheets and various chemical labels and markings.
• Must be willing to learn proper use of cleaning agents and usage of various supplies.
• Must be willing to learn proper maintenance and safety features of both light and heavy custodial equipment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Work may require lifting, pushing, or pulling in excess of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use high and low speed maintenance equipment as assigned.
• Trash removal.
• Sweep/mop/dust/vacuum as assigned.
• Wet mop.
• Perform restroom disinfectant and cleaning as assigned.
• Wash windows.
• Monitor use of equipment and report any malfunctions or problems to supervisor.
• Practice “Safety First”.
