About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and customer service, requiring individuals to foster positive relationships with coworkers, guests, and vendors while contributing to a collaborative work environment. Employees are expected to engage with guests courteously, provide accurate information about amenities and services, and uphold a clean, hazard-free workspace. The position may involve mentoring team members, working flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and handling physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The work environment is primarily indoors and may include exposure to noise and fumes.

Requirements

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performing a wide range of custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and disposing of trash.
• Cleaning restrooms, gaming areas, slot machines, and common surfaces such as windows, walls, carpets, and furnishings, while excluding sensitive gaming areas.
• Adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Promptly reporting hazards or injuries.
• Maintaining knowledge of cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Ensuring proper operation and upkeep of custodial tools.
• Following departmental procedures.
• Supporting preventative maintenance.
• Participating in ongoing training, meetings, and workshops.
• Fostering positive relationships with coworkers, guests, and vendors.
• Contributing to a collaborative work environment.
• Engaging with guests courteously.
• Providing accurate information about amenities and services.
• Upholding a clean, hazard-free workspace.
